I am...Great site.<br />Thought I might ask your advice.<br /> I am resurecting an early 70's cyclone 13. Any ideas about finding or jury-rigging a halyard?<br />I only intend to sail in a small lake and something make-shift will certainly do.<br />I think the original halyard had a ball/lock system at the top and I'm not sure how to replicate it. I imagine I could crimp a lump of lead at the appriate point on the wire. I don't even know if it's an essential componant, if it's tied off at the foot could that be enough?<br />The other part I need is the little clasp thingy that attaches the halyard to the sail.<br />I hoping I can solve these problems at the hardware store rather than an expensive and distant chandlery.<br />Any ideas??<br /><br />Thanks.buckyswisher@yahoo.comnoreply@blogger.com
